Initially working for North Sea operators on offshore structural integrity, Richard gained experience in offshore steel jackets, concrete gravity based structures & topside facilities. Working for companies including, Unocal, Amerada Hess & Amoco. Richard also worked for Apache Energy whilst seconded for a role in Australia.

Following this, Richard moved into pipeline engineering and integrity management for BP & Santos before starting his own consulting services firm Aina Consulting.

Over the last 5 years Richard has been engaged by GPA Engineering & Cooper Energy providing technical and integrity management support for onshore and offshore pipeline assets.

Currently, as Director of Aina Consulting, Richard works one-on-one with companies to providing strategic and operational support for onshore and offshore facilities.

Specialties include: safety cases, safety management plans, integrity management plans, AS2885 compliance, corrosion modelling and management, pigging support, fitness for service assessments, in-line inspection data analysis, failure investigation and repair definition.

Richard is professional with a proven track record of working with organisations on complex issues and major networks. Richard's systematic and measured approach sees him deliver fit for purpose solutions to everyday engineering issues & compliance requirements.
